RIALTO compatibility with your TV
RIALTO speakers are compatible with HDMI eARC (enhanced Audio Return Channel) output of your TV via a single HDMI cable. Rialto speakers are also compatible with ARC and HDMI CEC. HDMI CEC allows you to use the TV remote control to adjust the volume of the speakers.
Connecting RIALTO to your TV with an HDMI cable
1. Connect your Rialto to your network via Wi-Fi or ethernet.
2. Connect the HDMI output port on your TV and the TV port on the back panel of the primary speaker with an HDMI cable.
3. In your TV settings, enable eARC, ARC, or CEC in the HDMI settings. Refer to your TV's user manual for details, as HDMI connections may have different names between manufacturers (e.g. Anynet+ for Samsung, Simplink for LG).
4. Ensure that your TV digital audio output setting is PCM (not Dolby, Bitstream, Auto or similar).
Connecting RIALTO to your TV with an optical cable between the two speakers
You can also connect your Rialto speakers using the Link port to ensure a stable stereo image regardless of your network quality. If you experience cutting in the sound or lag between the video and the sound when the primary speaker is connected to your TV via HDMI, we recommend connecting both speakers via the Link port.
